Something Extra

Since 2010, I have concentrated on photography but if you are looking for that little extra special something to remember your wedding day by, why not consider one of these additional services that I can help arrange for you.

HDSLR Wedding Video

Do you want to capture your day in HD to remember forever? There are many options to consider when thinking about a wedding video e.g. Do you want all the main events captured? Do you just want a three minutes highlights video?
Personally, I have always approached wedding videography as a documentary. The camera operator should see all of the action, but at no time become obtrusive to what is going on. Let’s not forget, the day is about you and not the video! It’s best to discuss expectations fully so that you get the video you are looking for.
As a rough guide, video packages start from £1,000.

Super 8mm Film

Have you ever looked at old film footage and longed for that simple highlights video to remind you of your special day? Using a 1970s Super 8mm film camera is the way. The nostalgic look that this camera offers is beautiful. Whether you choose to use colour or black and white film, the movie is silent. Pick your favourite piece of music and I will supply you an edited version on DVD and a digital file that you can share with friends and family online.
£125 for approximately 3 mins (1 roll of film)
£175 for approximately 6 mins (2 rolls of film)
The cost for the music license depends on how much music you want to use and how many copies you want to make.

Polaroid Pictures

Many couples consider putting disposable cameras on tables but usually all they get back are 'dodgy' photos and also the odd bum or two. Now, I am not saying this won't happen still but the use of a Polaroid camera is a great way of getting people to interact and can be used to create a fun, interesting guest book with and comments.
I can supply a camera and film stock and discuss ways of managing this on the day.
Film can be purchased in quantities of 10 for £12.

DJing is another passion of mine and I have a great selection of friends that have experience with working with at various events from weddings to festivals. Personally, I believe the best advert for a DJ is a recommendation so if you are looking for someone who will help 'make' your party, will listen to your song requests and ensure a great time for everyone, tailored to you and your friends...let me know and I can put you in touch with my old colleagues.
